The Federal Minister of Economics recognized the actor's commitment to the environment and climate protection

Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) has awarded actor Arnold Schwarzenegger the "Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis" (German Sustainability Award) for his commitment to the environment and climate protection. At a ceremony in Berlin, Habeck praised Schwarzenegger as a "pioneer" and "role model" for sustainability.

Schwarzenegger has been campaigning for environmental protection and climate action for many years. He is the founder of several initiatives, including the "R20 Regions of Climate Action" and the "Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative". He also uses his social media channels to raise awareness of environmental issues.

In his speech, Habeck emphasized the importance of Schwarzenegger's work. "Arnold Schwarzenegger is a pioneer who has been committed to sustainability for many years," said Habeck. "He is a role model for many people and shows that everyone can make a difference." Schwarzenegger's commitment is "a great example of how we can all contribute to a sustainable future." The German Sustainability Award is one of the most prestigious environmental awards in the world. It is awarded to individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to sustainability.

Schwarzenegger was visibly moved by the award. "I am very honored to receive this award," he said. "Sustainability is a matter of the heart for me. I want to continue to do my part to protect our planet." He thanked his team and his family for their support.

The award ceremony was attended by numerous guests from politics, business, and the entertainment industry. Among them were Federal Environment Minister Steffi Lemke (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) and Berlin Mayor Franziska Giffey (SPD).
